Cherokee Warriors Homecoming will be on October 1st 2011. All of the Cherokee teams will play at Cherokee High School on Tommy Baker Field. This is a Great Experience for the players and cheerleaders to perform on the BIG STAGE!

**Players, Cheerleaders, and Coaches will get into the game for free, All others will have to pay an admission of $3.00 for students and $5.00 for Adults*** All are welcome to stay and enjoy Cherokee Football for the entire day from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM***  Come Out and Support Your Warriors!

Parents

Please do not park on the grass at practice. The City will ticket / tow your vehicle for improper parking.

 Please throw all trash away on your way to your vehicle.

Cherokee CYFA night will be September 2, 2011.  CYFA night is where all football players and cheerleaders are announced by teams before the Cherokee High School football game and they get to run across the field.  So PLEASE plan on bringing your child and stay to watch the game!!!!  Players and cheerleaders in uniform get in free as well as coaches with your badge.  Parents and siblings will have to pay a gate fee.

If your daughter has not been fitted for a cheer uniform at all your last chance to be fitted will be THURSDAY, JULY 28th at Kenney Askew from 6-9 PM.  Please have your daughter dress appropiatley to put a uniform on over her clothes as well as bring a pair of socks to try on shoes.  THERE WILL NOT BE ANOTHER FITTING AFTER THIS DATE!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

There will be a $25.00 late fitting fee due to the uniforms having to be rushed ordered to get them back in time for pictures.

Cheerleading practice will start Tuesday, August 2nd at 6 PM at Boling Park.  Practices going foward will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8 PM.  After the first week of practice I will divide up the cheer squads and assign each cheerleader a coach.  If you are interested in coaching or being a team mom please see me during the first week of practice!

If you have not heard yet,  CYFA will be offering a cheer camp the week of July 11th from 6-8:30 PM each night.  You can register by going to the CYFA web site under registration.  The cost per camper is $79.00.  The camp is a great way for cheerleaders to learn cheers, cheer motions, jumps, etc…  As well as meet new friends and have a fun time!!!

If you have been to cheer camp through CYFA in the past this year camp will be different so sign up to come see how!!!!
